about

Taking off, finding your stride, flying, tripping, falling, getting back up, and taking off again. Songs of love. Songs of life. Innocence, ignorance, and bliss. A broken heart all dewy with sunshine. Everything is possible in those moments of solitary realization. When a piece falls unexpectantly in place causing a chain reaction. Followed by a sigh of relief.

This material was recorded somewhere between 2004 and 2009 in various rooms of various dwellings. All songs were written, recorded, and performed by Jonathan Deschamps. Charles Leo Gebhardt IV sang and played a guitar solo on "Not So Sure About Baby", Ian Price played violin on, "Let the Sun Shine On".

Original Polaroid by Jessica Gring and manipulated by Jonathan Deschamps.

This music is mostly best listened to in its entirety, on a sunny day, while driving with your windows down.
